Bayan Institute Student Regulations
In our commitment to providing an organized and fruitful learning environment, all students are kindly requested to adhere to the following policies:
First: Academic System
1. New students are offered a free 20-minute trial session to get acquainted with the teacher and course system.
2. The academic year is divided into levels or educational courses, and lesson schedules are determined based on the student’s proficiency level.
3. Students must take a placement test upon registration to identify the appropriate study program.
4. Students are required to attend lessons as scheduled according to the academic timetable.
5. Students must complete assignments and projects to achieve their learning objectives.
6. Students have the right to request a transfer to a different class with another teacher after completing the current level. The administration will maintain communication with students to ensure the quality of the learning process.
Second: Absence Penalties
Attendance Requirements
Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons and should only be absent in cases of absolute necessity and with a valid excuse.
Absence Guidelines
Unexcused absences will result in a deduction of marks, which will affect the student's performance evaluation in the final exam.
If a student cannot attend a lesson for a valid reason, they must inform the administration at least one day in advance.
Students are permitted a maximum of 25% excused absences of the total course lessons. Exceeding this percentage may result in the following:
- Denial of the course completion certificate.
- Repeating the academic level.
Financial Penalties for Absence
In cases of frequent unexcused absences or sudden withdrawal without prior notice, a penalty of 10% of the course fee will be applied. The remaining amount of the course fee will be refunded to the student.
Third: Fee Payment Policy
1. All tuition fees must be paid directly to the institute's administration, either in cash, via bank transfer, or through the institute's official online platform, prior to the start of the course.
2. An official receipt will be issued to the student upon payment, which must be retained as a reference in case of any inquiries.
Fourth: Refund Policy
Students are entitled to request a refund of tuition fees under the following conditions:
1. If the student decides to withdraw before the start of the course, after taking the placement test and attending the trial session, 90% of the paid amount will be refunded.
2. If the student decides to withdraw within the first week of the course without providing a valid reason, 75% of the paid amount will be refunded.
3. No refunds will be granted after the first week of the course.
Note: Registration fees and placement test fees are non-refundable.
